Why the New Economy Should Leverage Veteran Workers

Yesterday as I scrolled social media, I came upon a video by a 30-something “recruiter” that gave advice to more experienced workers on “how to avoid looking old” when seeking a job.

Two of his tips were to not include the phrase “references upon request” on a resume, and to only use a single space (not double space) after a period (hear that, JO? You’re old!).

I don’t remember the other tips, probably because I wanted to post “dude, you need to catch up” on his Insta. If you’re thinking about applicants being “old,” not only are you breaking the law (yeah, no one cares about agism, but still), you’re also stuck in the past.
